A fun way to get kids engaged + excited about General Conference.
I’ve seen many different ideas on Pinterest of cute ways to keep kids engaged during the lessons, and I loved the idea of a store, but didn’t find one that was free, simple + what I was thinking, so I made my own version and decided to share it with you.
The idea is to print off the cash + let the kids earn money during the week before conference {and also during conference} to buy special little toys from the “Conference Store”.
There is money with specified values as well as blank versions for you to customize your own prices. Feel free to print off as many copies of the money as you need for your own kiddos {please don’t mass produce this. If you’re interested in that just contact me.} There are also blank price tags included that you can attach to the items to show how much money each item is worth.
Ideas To Earn Money:
- Extra Chores
- Getting Caught being kind
- Doing things without being asked
- No complaining
- Eating Dinner all the way
- Listening the first time
Ideas for Prizes or Store Items:
Dollar store will be your biggest friend here {think ideas that will keep them busy + quiet}
- Silly putty
- Special Treats you never buy {Krabby Patties anyone?!, or those lame toy sucker spinning things that shouldn’t have ever been invented
- Art activities
- Puzzles
- Books
- Toys they’ve been wanting
- Play dough
- Cards
