Disneyland: AKA The Happiest Place On Earth

Recently we took a trip to California to hit up my favorite theme-park: DISNEYLAND! It was so much fun. We spent one day at California Adventure & one day at Disneyland. Both Tylee & Camden loved it – as did Brandon & I.

**Watch the video above and then come back and check out our tips! {make sure you watch it in high video quality!}

If you’re planning a trip to Disneyland – you’ll want to check out what I learned from this trip.

1. RIDER SWAP: Use that rider swap pass to its advantage. We got fast passes to 2 different rides at the same time {half our group got a pass to one ride while the other half got one to another – the rider swap pass allows 3 riders to go right up to the front allowing everyone to basically fast pass both rides}.

2. EAT!!!! Try the food – splurge a little. I know the park food is expensive, so bring snacks, but try the churros, try the dole whip, try a corn dog. Make sure you budget in some food because it is a huge part of the experience 😉 And the broccoli cheese soup in a bread bowl is a MUST from California Adventure. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

3. TAKE PICTURES: you’ll only regret the ones that you didn’t take. I felt like I took a zillion photos, and yet, there’s still some shots I wish that I would’ve gotten. I currently use the Sony a6500. I could go on and on about my camera. Watch the video to see the footage but we used 120fps & most shots were taken with the 35mm 1.2 lens.

4. STROLLER: If you have little ones and you aren’t staying close to the park, make sure you have a comfortable stroller that they can nap in. Our Chariot saved our bacon on this trip! OH – and extra clothes, make sure you bring an extra outfit or 2 for the little guys.

5. Have Fun! Remember to have fun! Make some fun memories while waiting in lines – you can grab a free printable activity set from The Dating Divas to help pass the time. But most of all – enjoy the rides! 😉 If you head to Disney, come back and tell me what you’re favorite rides & food was. I’d love to hear about it. I could talk Disney all day long!
