This pink strawberry hot cocoa is super yummy, easy to make, and a great Valentine’s Day recipe. AND IT’S PINK!
Are you hitting those winter blues?! Here is a fun recipe that you can serve warm or cold. It would also be a really cute gift idea for almost any occasion. You could even get really fancy and make it into those popular hot cocoa bombs that seem to be everywhere. You have a silicone mold and some chocolate. Grab an inexpensive jar – I usually have good luck at the Dollar Store, then wrap it with a cute ribbon, and give it to anyone who could use a pick-me-up in the cold winter months. It’s perfect for little girl parties, Valentine’s Day, or for anyone who just loves strawberry or the color pink.
How to Make Pink Strawberry Hot Cocoa
- 7 oz chopped white chocolate {I used my BlendTec and just used a pulse setting, mixing every so often to get it into a powder}
- 1/3 c powdered instant dry milk
- 1 cup Strawberry Milk Powder
Mix everything all together – add anything festive. I used pink sprinkles and mini marshmallows. You can find sprinkles at almost any store now days, but if you want to grab some to ship – I love these colors & shades.
Make it Festive
You will then treat this pink strawberry hot coca just like a regular hot cocoa mix. Heat up your milk or water. We love having a hot cocoa machine to make it easier for the kids to make their own cocoa. For a healthier option, we prefer almond milk. Then you’ll add in your powder and any of your favorite creamers. Mix it all together! I’ve even gotten really festive and frozen whipped cream on a cookie sheet and cut it out with heart-shaped cookie cutters and used those on the top.
Enjoy!
