LAKE MEAD | A spontaneous little getaway.
I’m not gonna lie. Dental school can be so brutal at moments. I try not to complain too much, because I really am going to miss it. I’m going to bawl like a little baby when we pack up our car and pull away from this place we’ve called home for the last four years.
But we’re at a crossroads right now.
Does Brandon specialize {add another 3 years?!} Do we do a residency – if so where? Do we pull out a map, close our eyes, and point – move the family where our finger lands?
IT’S SO STRESSFUL.
So when Brandon’s dad called up and said – “Hey do you guys want to meet us in Lake Mead for the weekend?!” It was a total no-brainer. We put aside all the to-do’s to give our mental side a little break. And oh it was so needed.
