Our Holiday Gift List for Babies

Having a baby so close to the holidays makes shopping a little difficult, especially when you don’t know the gender. Brandon and I decided that since we have a girl {Tylee} and a boy {Camden} that we would keep this baby a surprise.

We all know that babies like to come at their own time. I’m REALLY hoping that this one decides to come at 37 weeks, on or around December 18th. It’s PERFECT for Brandon’s school schedule, as well as gives me some time to adjust before Christmas. But it still doesn’t give me much time to shop {wink!}

So I decided to put together the ULTIMATE HOLIDAY GIFT LIST for Babies. And as a bonus these work for baby girls AND baby boys. Christmas is all about giving and Christ, so YES, I do know that this isn’t the most important part of the holiday. Stay tuned to see how we are keeping Christ in Christmas this year.

But check out some our favorite ideas for Baby #3 this year:

Incredibundles:

When I first came across this company I was amazed – literally blown away! They have THE best gift ideas for babies for holidays {really for any occasion}. They have SO many different bundles to choose from, but I fell in love with their book bundles. And I honestly didn’t know how I could choose just one. I decided to go with the year of books. This would start an amazing library for baby #3 and it includes 30 of the very best award-winning books. It was such a win-win! When it came in the mail and I opened it, I was even more surprised. It comes in the perfect storage box and all of the books are hardcover {some cloth, which is great for drool}, so they will last through the destruction that comes along with a baby {wink!}. Because I LOVE books, this gift is probably my very favorite that we will be gifting baby #3 this year. I decided to let Tylee & Camden in on the fun and help wrap each book individually. That’s a whole other story, though.

Owlet Monitor:

You can never be to careful when it comes to a newborn. And we all know that SIDS is very scary. I personally know a few families that have lost a child to SIDS and my heart aches for them. I can’t even imagine the pain of losing a child and I pray that I never have to go through that. As a parent you have a zillion and one things to worry about and a sleeping baby shouldn’t need to be one of them. This monitor sock is amazing and I am so excited to have one less thing to worry about when our little one arrives.

Blooming Bath

You have no idea how excited I am about this baby bath! I’ve had a few different ones with our older two and they are big and bulky and hard to clean. This blooming bath is so soft and can pretty much fit in any sink without your baby being uncomfortable! Plus you can wash and dry it. Sign me up!

PROMPTLY JOURNALS

These are prompted journals that start at pregnancy and go through age 18. I ended up getting one of these for each of my kids because I fell in love with them. I love journaling and I love remembering the little details. I have a lot of work ahead of me to go back in time and document Tylee and Camden’s births, but I love the prompts and these are some of the things I will treasure the most throughout their lives.

NURSING & CARSEAT COVER

Obviously I haven’t tried this one out QUITE yet because the baby isn’t here, but I love the reviews. I didn’t love what I’ve used in the past so I am excited to try something new and I love the style {THEY’RE SO CUTE!} and I love the fact that you basically nurse anywhere and no one will even know. I ended up getting this one & I am so excited to use it. It also doubles as a carseat cover so that’s a huge bonus in my book. One less thing you have to carry. Just stick it over the seat and you’re ready to nurse whenever the baby decides to be hungry {usually the most inconvenient places – LOL}!

GRAPPLE:

I am already beyond excited for this little gadget! If you get sick of the toss/pickup game of baby toys, this seems to be the answer. It suctions to most surfaces and you can attach just about any toy to it and then NO MORE TOYS ON THE FLOOR!!!! YES!!!! Seriously such an amazing invention. They come in a couple of different colors too! I’m excited to grab some of those silicone teethers to go with it.

BABY CARRIERS

I am obsessed with baby carriers. I used the Solly Baby for Camden when he was little and loved it. We are always on the go and so it is super necessary to have something to take along with us to help carry the littlest and allow us to use our hands to help the older two.

Can we all just take a moment of silence for those cheeks! He was the squishiest baby ever!!!

I definitely grabbed another one of those because of how comfortable he was to wear. I think wearing him on the beach was my favorite. I also wanted to have a few different options as well as one that Brandon could use. Plus, now that we live in AZ it’s SO hot in the summer time that I wanted one that was mesh & breathable. Here are the carriers I grabbed:

Solly Baby! This was my go-to with Camden so of course I needed another one. They have so many fun patterns that it’s hard to choose just one.

Ergo Baby 360: I’ve heard amazing things about this carrier and the fact that it is mesh is what sold me. When it’s 122 degrees outside, I’m counting on this to help keep us cool {at least as cool as possible – anyway}. I’m already dreading the sweat!

Happy Baby Carrier: This is still on my wishlist, but I love the look of these carriers! They have so many fun styles and I’ve heard a lot of good things about them as well. So this may very well be another carrier we add to our collection. Seriously, look at their patterns. I’m eying the Marigold, Charcoal, and Shadow colors.

DIAPER BAGS:

All right if you’re a mom then you know how many different bags there are out there – zillions and it’s super hard to narrow them down. I’ve decided to go with these two {so far! wink, I have a slight obsession with bags}.

ANCHORED EAST: This bag is amazing! It’s a backpack that is super sturdy. It’s really stylish and comes with a changing mat! It has pockets!!!!! That’s my favorite part. It has a bunch of different compartments so you can keep yourself organized and the price is incredible. If you’re looking for a great bag that won’t break the bank, this is the one. Plus it will stand up on it’s own without flopping over. There are way too many good things that I can say about this bag. You can’t go wrong. We simply love it!

FAWN DESIGN: Okay if you haven’t heard of Fawn Design yet, you need to check them out! Their bags are seriously beautiful. They are on the more pricey end, but they are worth every. single. penny! I chose the brown one in regular size and mini because I couldn’t decide between the two. They have gold zippers and you can take the inside out to make it easy to clean. You can wipe down the leather too which is a must when you have a baby. There are 10 pockets and there’s a keychain hook so you don’t have to do the dig at the bottom to find your keys. You can wear it as a backpack or a messenger bag. It’s seriously such a great bag and if you’re looking for a high quality bag, I couldn’t recommend it more.

Boody Baby:

CLOTHES!!! This is super hard for me right now and I have had to really put a limit on myself. Because I don’t know if it is a boy or a girl obviously I don’t want to do too much shopping. But I found this amazing long sleeve onesie that is SO SO SO soft. It seriously is the softest fabric ever. I grabbed a little hat to go with it. If it’s a girl we will just throw on a cute bow and we should be good to go.

BOWS:

STELLA BELLA: You guys, if it’s a girl, I might be in some major trouble. I’ve already gotten a few of these amazing bows from Stella Bella and because they have both alligator clips and the nylon headbands, I had to grab some matching ones for Tylee. They are so cute. And I love that it’s a subscription so you just get sent bows without needing to think about ordering them. You can never have to many.

AVANCHY BABY DISHES:

Feeding: Of course, little ones start out only eating milk {breastfeeding or bottle-feeding}, but 6-ish months goes by mighty quick {unless you’re in your last month of pregnancy, of course}, and they are eating food before you know it. I fell in love with these bamboo sets! They are so stinking cute. They are great for toddlers and younger kiddos too.

Wish us luck as we get closer to becoming outnumbered as parents. Hopefully this gives you some fun ideas for your little ones. Make sure you’re following us on IG because I’ll be sharing some amazing deals and other fun holiday ideas too.
