Do you give flowers for gifts?! If so this Valentine’s Day flower idea is perfect. Add a few photos and memories and it will be their favorite gift of the year. All you need is to print 12 photos of some of your favorite memories, grab some mini kraft envelopes, and a dozen inexpensive roses and a vase. You’ll want to have some Baker’s Twine or some string that you can tie the envelopes on to.
Item Checklist
Here is a list of the items you’ll want to pull off this sentimental Valentine’s Day Flower Idea
- Mini Kraft Envelopes – I love having these on hand. They work for so many different crafts and gifts.
- Flowers – I have a hard time spending a lot of money on flowers. I just do. I always appreciate it when I get them! But I have a hard time spending money on something I know is pretty temporary. One of my secrets is dressing up inexpensive flowers to make them look way better. You can find inexpensive roses at grocery stores like Walmart. If you separate them from the plastic and dress them up in a cute vase, you can do a lot!
- Photos – you’ll need to print at least 12 of your favorite photos of the person you’re gifting it to. I put 4 photos in a 4×4 photo collage, and cut them out so each photo was a 2×2.
- Vase or jar – Find a good vase or even a mason jar like we used to put your flowers in.
How To Assemble The Valentine’s Day Flower Idea
Glue each photo to a kraft envelope
Write a memory down to put in each envelope
Make a small hole in the corner of each envelope and use your baker’s twine or string to secure each envelope to a flower
Put all the flowers in a vase and tie with a cute ribbon
Hope you love it! It’s one of my very favorite gifts that I gave to our daughter. She was turning 12 so I gave it to her as A dozen reasons we love Tylee.
