10th Year Anniversary Idea

This post is sponsored by Little America, but all views and opinions expressed are 100% our own.

Anniversary Getaway

Before I get all mushy gushy, I need to say this, the little things are what can make or break anything. With Brandon’s full-blown residency, a late-night moonlighting job to help with finances, religious assignments, me being in the thick of my 4th pregnancy, running around with 3 other children in tow, it just wasn’t feasible for us to take an exotic vacation for our 10th year anniversary.

But a couple getaway to one of our all-time favorite places THE LITTLE AMERICA in Salt Lake City wasn’t only perfectly romantic, it was absolutely necessary and it was anything but “little”.

This year as we began 2020, we made a pact to have more date nights. Nothing big, nothing expensive, just something little, but something planned. Is there a more perfect way to begin this goal than a romantic getaway for our 10th year anniversary? I’d say nope.

From the moment you arrive, you feel like royalty. First of all, their entire accommodations are completely elegant. The building, the lobby, the lounge, and pool area are what dreams are made of.

Anniversary Getaway

Fireplaces – these are one of my love languages. Something about a good fireplace just screams ‘home’ and ‘comfort’. We WILL own a home with a mantle one day, but until then I will take full advantage of places like this.

When we went up to our room that overlooked the entire city, there was a platter of fresh fruit and the good kind of chocolates – they know the way to my heart!

The night couldn’t have been more perfect. We spent the evening exploring the hotel and grounds, browsing the unique shops around the lobby, and checking out the indoor and outdoor heated pool. We passed on the hot tubs because I am expecting and want to be safe.

Anniversary Meals

Lucky H: Yum. Yummy. Delicious. Drool. The buffet breakfast at the hotel is just one you have to experience. Brandon and I agreed that it just might be the best part. I mean, pancakes, bacon, eggs, french toast, an omelet bar, platters of pastries and fruit, need I say more?! I will be dreaming of and having major pregnancy cravings for this breakfast for days on end. It was so good. We ate so much food and I don’t think I ate again until it was dinner time.

We will definitely be back again. I mean, now we can say we’ve celebrated our first and 10th anniversaries there, we can call it a tradition, right?

If you’ve never stayed here, you need to put it on your list. It’s amazing.

XX,

Camille
