Caramel Apple Nachos

This is one of my favorite ways to eat apples. Caramel Apple Nachos are something you don’t want to sleep on this fall season. They’re so easy and a crowd pleaser!

Caramel Apple Nacho Recipe

Growing up we’d make Caramel Popcorn Balls and Orange Julius. We’d give out the caramel popcorn balls for Christmas gifts to our neighbors. It’s one of my favorite holiday traditions. I took the same caramel recipe and decided to put a little spin on it. Since, Caramel apples are a little messy and hard for little kids to eat {heck, even adults}, we made them into caramel apple nachos. It’s not quite as messy, and its way easier for them to eat. Plus, this caramel recipe is bomb. You can eat it on just about everything. Hope you guys love it as much as we do.

First, cut your apples into thin slices, next add your toppings.

This apple slicer has become one of my new favorite kitchen gadgets, especially for recipes like this one.

If you don’t have a candy thermometer, now is your sign to get one. However, here’s a trick, cook the caramel {stirring almost constantly when you add in the milk, until it boils – add a small amount to a cup of cold water. If you can ball it into a soft ball that can keep its shape, it’s done.

Enjoy those caramel apple nachos!
