I love a good holiday craft. These DIY Tinsel Letters are so cute in our girls’ room. And they are so easy to make. You don’t need many supplies and it only takes a few minutes to assemble the letters. It looks even more magical in person. This little video is so fun to watch and it captures their little voices and personalities so perfectly.
How to Make DIY Tinsel Letters
I was browsing through Hobby Lobby, grabbing the last minute items for our Halloween costume when I noticed these letters on major clearance. They were $2.49 each, normally $25 dollars. I instantly noticed that there were the specific letters for the word ‘Noel’. I wasn’t sure what I would do with them, but figured they were too good of a deal to pass.
I grabbed some cheap tinsel similar to this from Walmart for $0.98 for 12 feet and these fairy lights {I reuse them for everything!}
To make the DIY Tinsel Letters I used a little hot glue on one end, wrapped the tinsel into the hot glue and continued wrapping the letters until they were all wrapped, then secured it with hot glue on the other end. Then I wrapped fairy lights around the letters. Everything with twinkle lights is more magical.
Here is what they look like all lit up. They look so magical in person. The little tree with all the pink and white underneath is so girly and the girls LOVE it. It makes their room so fun to be in.
